I getting excited! I`m having a kitchen and bathroom delivered today. And yes, all you who know me will be falling off your chairs at my excitement! Read on>>>
All you who know me and love me will know how practical I am. You`re right - not at all! And if there`s going to be dust floating around, it will happily land on my mantlepiece and stay there for 6 months before I notice it.
The main reason I`ve been having kittens about this delivery is this. My trusty fitter, Mick is gloomy about whether the delivery boys will have everything with them. He knows them of old. So he`s not going to start work for 2 weeks since he`s absolutely sure they will have left something behind at the warehouse. And since I haven`t a garage, the kichen counter top, the bath, loo, and all the units will need to be piled high in my living room. All my lovely clients normally come to see me to become luckier and happier in my living room. So this means that I have a hunt to find somewhere for at least 4 weeks to help them keep up the good work.
Well just now, I talked to my neighbour, Tim. Ok, I`ll backtrack. My other lovely neighbour Rosina who has X-ray eyes (and proudly tells me that she is 83 in November) spotted that Tim and his girlfriend are no longer together(how she knows this, I know not). When I told her of my dilemma about where to look she suggested that Tim had an empty room now. So over I go to Tim and yes, hurray, hurrah he has!!! And even better he seemed perfectly happy for me to borrow it during the daytime whilst he`s at work. Glory be.
Now I can email all my clients just directing them to come to the house next door to mine. Easy.
I feel so lucky. I am so lucky. And am so glad that I`ve made good connections with people to create this luck.
